SPS stainless steel Vari-level Floor Drains were used within the stairwells of the carpark and the SPS bronze body Rainwater Outlet with Class D load tested 316 grade stainless steel grate utilised throughout the carpark trafficable areas.
Premium, long-lasting Rainwater Outlets were specified for this project. The SPS TBS150F Truflo has a Class D load-tested grate for the carpark's vehicle traffic. The Truflo 150mm outlet Rainwater Outlets were used on all floors, with more outlets used on the exposed top level. The primary focus of the SPS Rainwater Outlets is to provide a greater water flow, with only the SPS SIA150FE 'Superflo' Rainwater Outlets beating the SPS Truflo for Waterflow for 150mm outlets.
The SPS R130S/C65 Vari-level floor drain, with a cast iron body and 316-grade stainless steel flat grate, was used in the stairwells and landings of the carpark building. These drains are becoming more popular because they provide additional leak control features within a strong metal body and allow for easy grate adjustment during installation.
We believe our Bronze Rainwater Outlets will outlast all other project building materials and even the life of the building housing them. The Truflo Rainwater Outlets can be reused or recycled if the building is ever replaced.
With the use of high-quality Bronze, Cast Iron, and 316-grade Stainless Steel for outlet drains, Fisher and Paykel have chosen SPS products that will last at least as long as the functional life of the building. Once the building comes to an end, the SPS drain materials used for water management will be able to be repurposed or recycled. Because of the long life of these Rainwater Outlets, we believe they are cost-effective and good value for the investment due to their expected longevity.
